Last blog post and I am finally satisfied. An update on my practices would be that it's going great. I forgot to mention before why I am taking the editing very seriously. I used to want to become an editor but I no longer want to. Even though I don't want to do it as a profession, I still enjoy it as a hobby. I am certified in Adobe Premiere CS6 and that has also helped with this project. I want to continue to do well and everything I learned in my practices I want to apply to the project.

Lately, I have bee practicing on my own time with editing. I took random clips and tried to edit them and tried to color correct them. I say that I tried because I wasn't so successful. Nothing was bad by any means but something but I have high expectations for myself and the practicing didn't meet my expectations. I found a few videos helpful during my time practicing.  This video helped me with color correction because I am not too familiar with doing it. I learned where to find things and how to apply it and where to apply certain effects. I will continue to further my practice.

Hello, welcome back to the blog posts and I am being welcomed to the fourth quarter. Slowly but surely I am losing motivation because I'm at the end of the year. I am a senior and the closer I get to finishing school the less involved I am. I hope to stay on track with my project because I am taking it quite seriously. With all of the work and research I have done, I can't give up now so I will continue to keep going.

Last blog post of the week, I apologize for all the fans. So far I haven't touched any of the footage. I haven't started editing or color correcting or anything. Just because I am editing the film doesn't mean this isn't  group project anymore. With that being said, I want to discuss with my group about editing and how to go about the editing process. I would hate to do it alone, I enjoy other people's input. I also learned that I should be showing what we have so far to a third party person. Maybe someone else doesn't see what my group sees and can offer some insight on how to approach the film. I am going to continue to keep going at this project with an open mind.

Hello. Last blog post i mentioned looking over the footage. well, I did. What we filmed met my expectations but the lighting is pretty bad. i don't want to have to re-shoot anything so I am going to try and color correct the scene to see if it'll help.Some colors need correcting and it needs a little bit better lighting also. Here's an example of what I am trying to achieve. I am aiming to make the scene brighter as shown above.

Welcome to week five of the blog posts. As mentioned last week, we needed to film a couple of more shots. We want to get together during spring break but we we are all very busy and i will be gone for a little bit too. Spring break was nice to sit back and relax but we are all ready to get back into the project. Towards the end of the break we ended up filming one day and it was alright. I eager to look at the footage but I am skeptical as to how it came out. I will update on Wednesday and review the footage.
